The Division of Workers’ Compensation eight adjudication offices will start setting the medical fee dispute (MFD) cases on the show cause docket in the very near future. These MFD cases are based upon an “Application for Direct Pay” that has been filed by the Health Care Provider with the Division. Please note that in some of the MFD cases [a specific MFD number is assigned to them] the underlying workers’ compensation case may have been closed either based upon a dismissal, settlement or an award on final hearing. However, the MFD case is still pending or open with the Division. Notice of docket setting will be sent to the parties to the MFD case.
The attorneys who have signed up with the Division to receive electronic notices of docket settings will receive the notice of docket setting on the MFD cases electronically.
If you have any questions regarding the MFD case or the notices please contact either Judy Engelbrecht at 573/526-5610 or Jodi Spicer at 573/522-2546 or the appropriate adjudication office.

Please make sure that the Certificate of Service box at the bottom of the form is completed. Please note that corporations or limited liability companies appearing before the Division must be represented by an attorney licensed in the State of Missouri. See Reed v. Labor and Indus. Rel. Comm., 789 S.W. 2d 19, 20 (Mo banc 1990).
